There is something so fascinating about lagoon-inspired colors. They are beautifully rich in tone (almost resembling the richness of a peacock) and make me wish I was on a permanent beach vacation.
The best part of wearing colors like this is the fun they add to any outfit. Whether you're relaxing in capris or a long maxi skirt, wearing tones like this on your eyes attracts attention; in a good way!!
What are your thoughts about lagoon/peacock eye shadow colors? How have your pulled the look off?
XO
I absolutely love this kind of colours. I just wish there were more occasions I could use them! Great post!
ReplyDeleteLOOOOVE this look! Perfect with a tan.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors and can wear them every way but eye makeup. I have blue eyes.. so you'd think it would be flattering! And the hubby says it doesn't look that bad, but I feel so self-conscious whenever I play with blue or green eyeshadow. Oh well!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, as always.. and love the pic! ♥
Those colors are great! I'm still experimenting and learning to wear them ;) xo
ReplyDelete@Catharina....you can wear them anytime!!! ha, but yes, I agree. I am wearing turquoise eye shadow to work today and am feeling slightly out of place...
ReplyDelete@Angela...I totally agree!!
@MandysSecrets...I have blue eyes too and still love the look. However, I understand what you mean...sometimes it can appear to be too matchy-matchy
@Bronwen...YAY...keep experimenting
I love colors like that! :)
ReplyDeleteI love teal and aqua colours! This makes me want to do a peacock eye make up!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried any type of "lagoon look", but I really think a pop of aqua to the eyes looks sooo pretty. ^^
ReplyDeleteI luv these colors. One of my favorite colors is turquoise. I love the tropical colors we see in the ocean and in the caribbean. Wish these colors weren't only popular in the spring summer. Even though most of the time I don't go by the trend. anyway I luv the peacock pic!
