Obsessed With: Paperself Eyelashes

I wanted the Dior Velvet Eyes soooo badly that Allan took himself to Sephora while on a business trip and snapped me up a pair.  I raved about them for days, months even, but have yet to find the proper place to wear them.  Now, I find myself obsessed with something equally as unique: shaped paper eyelashes called Paperself.

If you've never seen them before, you MUST check out this link.  These lashes are so different, unique and intricate that just owning a pair might make you feel like the luckiest person in the world.

According to Paperself's website, the lashes are "inspired by the art of Chinese paper-cutting.  The eyelashes blend an element of traditional culture with contemporary design."  The lashes come in 11 different styles and each style has a different symbolic meaning like success, love or happiness (just to name a few).  Another awesome thing about these lashes is that you can either wear the full lash for a dramatic look OR cut a little piece to wear in the outer corner of the eye as an accessory.

I am SO going to get me a pair of the Peacock style.  They are gorgeous!  I should mention that they are selling at Sephora (on-line) for $9 USD instead of the regular $19 USD.  Gotta love a good deal!

What do you think ladies?  Have you tried these before?  What's your favorite style?

Lashem: The Ultimate Beauty Essentials for the Eyes

I received an email about a week and a half ago from the company Lashem asking me if I'd be interested in reviewing a couple of their products.  So, after a really quick YES email back from me, I received a box delivered to my work address this afternoon.  I tore open the box and was surprised to see not one, not two but four full-size products calling my name.  Needless to say I was like a little girl at Christmas...tearing things open, smelling the products etc.

So, after careful consideration, I've dcided to to start with the Lashem Measurable Difference Lash Gel.  Anything that promotes "healthier, longer and fuller lashes" is definitely A-OK in my books.  But the question of the day is will it work?

About a year ago, I reviewed RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum and had great results.  However, I'm back to where I was before using the serum (brittle lashes, missing a few, etc) so I'm eager to see if the results are going to be the same or better with Lashem.  Either way, I'll keep you posted over the next month as to my results..

Here are my lashes before I start with the product tonight....Wish me luck ladies

Re-growth: The Beginning

So, Saturday night began my month-long relationship with Rapid Lash, the "eyelash enhancing serum."

I purchased the product at Shoppers Drug Mart after weeks of meticulously googling re-growth options. I chose this one because it's available in Canada (hahahaha, seriously) and it was ONLY $50. (Yes, I know, it's a lot of money but if this really does work it's so worth it.)

According to Shoppers, I have 30 days to try this product and if for any reason I have an allergic reaction or, god forbid, my eyelashes fall out, they will gladly give me my money back. (If either of these things actually happen, I'm suing....I swear....)

Use: The product can only be applied once a day, at night, and you can not have any make-up on whatsoever. Once your face is clean, you apply a thin layer to the upper lash line using the very fine brush and that's it. So far, I've used it twice and nothing has happened.....patience is not my strong suit.

I will be continuing this every night and let you know of anything crazy. Also, I am going to be posting my before picture as well as an after.....anyway, here goes nothing!
