February was the first month, in a long time, where my Ipsy subscription really made me happy.  Not only was the bag ADORABLE this month but I managed to get so many products I'll actually use!

My bag contained (from left to right) Seraphine Botanicals Carrot and Rose Cream (bonus from a girlfriend who didn't want her's), Promise Organic Argan Creme, Chella Passionate Pink Lip Pencil, Naked Cosmetics Mica Pigment (in a gorgeous bronze color), Luxie Flat Definer Brush and a Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil.

So, the primer oil is not my cup of tea BUT the other items are awesome.  I am loving the lip pencil so much.

Ipsy Canada January 2016

I am so late in posting this.  It came when I was on holidays and I literally just opened and had to share with you my awesome goodies!

I am so happy with this month!

First off, the bag is absolutely adorable!  In my package, I received the Model Co Highlighting Trio (which I redeemed points for), Lasting Smiles Organic Lip Balm in Peppermint Creme, the Balm Mr. Write Now Eyeliner Pen in Jac, Coastal Scents Pearl Shadow Angle Brush, City Color Eyeshadow Trio in Falling Leaves and Skyn Glacial Cleansing Cloths.

The Model Co Highlighting Trio was SO WORTH the redemption.  Seriously, I am in love with it.

Its month's like this that make it such a worthwhile subscription for me.

Ipsy Canada December 2015

I mentioned to Allan that if the Ipsy bag for December wasn't amazing, then I would be cancelling my subscription.  However, I have not cancelled it and am so glad I didn't because my January bag is going to be amazing.  This one, unfortunately, fell short.

I received Peter Lamas Spa Sensuals Intensive Repair Hand Cream, Pacifica Natural Minerals Lipstick in Nudie Red, Formula X Nail Color in Revved Up, Clark's Botanicals Deep Moisture Mask and Model Co Illusion Lip Liner.

I love Pacifica however this lipstick is not good.  It's way too light to be classified as a red and actually blends into my lips.  Plus I thought it funny that they gave a lip liner that does not match the lipstick at all.  I LOVE the moisture mask though so that was a plau.

Ipsy, Birchbox, Topbox, Oh My - November 2015

Sigh, I am posting these altogether as I only JUST received my Ipsy package a few days ago.  I don't quite understand why it's so late but it ALWAYS seems to come the following month.  Aside from that, I am really excited to show you all my goodies.

First up is Birchbox and TopBox.  Birchbox (left side) from left to right, I received Skyn Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels, the Balm Frat Boy Shadow/Blush single, LOC One and Done Shadow Stick, Embryolisse Nourishing Moisturizer and Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo.  From TopBox, left to right, I received The Face Shop Character Mask (yes, another one), Nova Scotia Fisherman Extreme Lip Care in Sea Salt and Caramel, Benefit Air Patrol Primer and 2 SeaRx Micro-Dermabrasion Face & Body Scrub.

I am really liking the Birchbox BUT have decided to cancel TopBox for January.  I really feel like they don't quite understand my desire for beauty products (ahem, makeup) and I always seem to get masks from them.  Boring.

My Ipsy bag was fairly good, for the first time in a few months.  I received, from left to right, Jersey Shore Spa Pumpkin Spice Lip Balm (redeemed points), Pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner (redeemed points), Beaute Basics Navy Gel Eyeliner, Crown Brush Pointed Crease Brush, Avance Mattifying Emulsion Primer, Demeter Orchid Collection Twilight Roll On Perfume Oil and a Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara.

I am in LOVE with the navy gel eyeliner!!

Ipsy Canada September 2015 Review

As most of you know, I was planning on cancelling Ipsy the other month due to a shipping fiasco.  I decided not to cancel it as we are SO close to December/January and I want to see how good the holiday bags will be.

This month Ipsy featured a Face Fashion look which was to "inspire the perfect transition from summertime casual to autumn elegance."  Thank goodness the cosmetic bag is decent because the last few have been poor.  Remember the black summer bag that reminded me of scuba gear??

Inside my Glam Bag I received (from left to right) a NYX Eye Shadow Trio, Pixi by Petra Brow Trio, TreStique Mini Matte Lip Crayon in Nantucket Nude, First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream and Accure Brightening Facial Scrub.

To me, this is the perfect amount of skin and body care products and I LOVE that 3 of my products were cosmetic related.  Perfect!!

What's In Your Ipsy Bag??? April's AMAZING Glam Bag

I wasn't too happy with my last couple of Ipsy Glam Bags.....and then April's came.

Seriously, I don't think I can be any happier with this bag of goodies!!  Not only is it called "Beautifully Bohemian" but I got a full-sized makeup product...YAY!!

In my bag, I received (from left to right) a Jor'el Parker Femina mini roller fragrance, an Essence Lash Princess Mascara, Theorie Argan Oil Hair Serum, Starlooks Lip Gloss and, finally, a theBALM Nude Dude Mini Eyeshadow in Fit.

Ipsy's February Glam Bag

I just received my second Ipsy Glam bag and am relatively happy with it.  In my bag, I received (from left to right) a ModelCo Cosmetics Blush in Cosmopolitan, Mitchell and Peach Fine Radiance Face Oil, City Color Creamy Lip Stain in Flirtini, Eva NYC Volumizing Spray and an Emite Make Up Eyelash Curler.

The blush, lip stain and face oil are gorgeous but I am just so-so on the other two items.  Actually, I have never used an eyelash curler in my whole life SO have no idea what to do with it.  I will say that I hope next month's bag will be better though I recall saying this last moth as well.

Ipsy's January Glam Bag - My First One!

Today, I received my first Glam Bag from Ipsy.  For those that haven't heard of Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription to a site that mails you beauty products every month to try for a very low fee.  You even get to take a fun quiz to determine what type of products you like and what you're in to.

Being that it was my first glam bag, I wasn't too sure what to expect.  In my package, I received:

As soon as I opened the glam bag I immediately went online and re-did my beauty quiz.  As cute as the few items are, I was really hoping for some bold, new colors or tools that I might not have seen before.  Perhaps, next month.
